What to expect
When you come to Dr. Heeren’s office, we take our time; every patient is a special, unique case.
You will see Dr. Heeren directly, and he will explain the process to you and answer any questions. Your initial visit includes a consultation, a thorough examination, and what essentially is a structural analysis of your body, with X-rays of the spine to identify subluxations (still and motion X-rays from different perspectives, which capture your body in different postures), and infrared scans to identify interference with nerves.
We also do an infrared foot scan to look for issues with feet and arches that may be impacting spinal function; our laser scanner looks at the foot in 3D, and the company uses that information to make a custom orthotic to support the pelvis and the spine.
Dr. Heeren reviews all of that information with you before formulating a care plan. Dr. Heeren will adjust your spine on your first visit; we do not want you to leave with the same pain you came in with. Book an appointment with Dr. Heeren to address your pain.
Payment options
Payment is due at the time of treatment, by cash, check or credit card. We do not accept insurance but we will furnish you with receipts for your health care savings account or for your accountant for out-of-pocket medical expenses.
We do offer a sliding payment scale depending on a patient’s ability to afford care; we ask that you discuss your situation with the doctor prior to treatment. A schedule of customary fees is available upon request.
